To focus, first eliminate any distractions. For me this means tying up my hair! I pick my split ends constantly and this costs me valuable minutes of study time. Also, having your hair up just makes you feel like you're going to get work done, like you're actually going to accomplish things! Don't make it pretty, just a ponytail and then you are ready to hit the books.
